Even if you are only giving finger-food, there are numerous benefits to letting your baby self-feed with a spoon. Because when you think about it, we adults use spoons at meals, right? There are many things we need a spoon to eat – soups, porridge, ice cream, yoghurts, etc. Remember that purées are an important texture to master too.
Also, learning to use a spoon will encourage them to use their palmar grasp while also supporting the development of their pincer grip movement. This encourages and supports the early development of fine motor skills which they need for activities like drawing, writing, etc.

Please wash thoroughly before first use and after each use. Our plates can be placed in the dishwasher (top rack only) or hand washed.
You can sterilize your silicone product by boiling it for up to 15 minutes.
Do not wash with solvents or harsh chemicals.
Avoid using the rough side of sponge or a plastic scrubby as it will also damage the silicone.
Please do not use sharp knives, as it will permanently damage the silicone.
